...Licensed Counselor, Wise Woman Advocate for Women in Mid-Life, Brainspotting Practitioner, Registered Art Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master, Chakra Storyteller, Interior Decorating Enthusiast, and Vulnerability Detective. I'm also a mom to one kiddo and three furry friends, a wife, daughter, sister, friend, colleague, and avid researcher of all things perfectly imperfect.
Creative Counseling and Wellness is my passion to help you grow, transform, find your courage, and fly.
Like the butterfly, we expand through our own personal metamorphosis for growth and change to occur. We quietly transform in the meditative cocoon allowing fears and old wounds to be released one by one so that transformation can take place. We are taught through this magic that we need to shed the old before we can come into the new by connecting to our faith and vulnerability.
Finding healthy outlets to express ourselves, honor the process, and explore solutions is where that transformation begins.
"When you touch one thing with deep awareness,
you touch everything."

COUNSELING & BRAINSPOTTING
ART THERAPY & INTERIOR DECORATING
Counseling, or psychotherapy, is a process focused on helping you heal and learn more constructive ways to deal with the problems or issues within your life.
My areas of concentration are: anxiety disorders, depression, life transitions, stress management, and supporting women's mental health during their perimenopause & menopause transition.
Brainspotting (BSP) is a talk therapy that reveals a client’s unprocessed traumas through fixed eye positions. Specific eye positions each link to their own “brainspot,” an area of the mind that retains thoughts and emotions. Clients fixate on troubling brainspots to uncover hidden mental challenges.
Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve a person's physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
It involves the use of creative techniques such as drawing, painting, collage, coloring, or sculpting to help people express themselves artistically and examine the psychological and emotional undertones in their art. With the guidance of a credentialed art therapist, clients can "decode" the nonverbal messages, symbols, and metaphors often found in these art forms, which should lead to a better understanding of their feelings and behavior so they can move on to resolve deeper issues.
Interior Decorating for Offices Spaces is my design company, Holding Space, mission to inspire office dwellers to express themselves through their environment. Contact me for space inspiration and bring your rooms back to life.
Yoga is a practical aid and is based on an ancient art that harmonizes the development of the body, mind, and spirit. Breath control, simple meditation, and body postures are practiced for relaxation.
Reiki is a Japanese energy technique that means "universal life energy" and is used for stress reduction and relaxation. The hands channel this energy to help clear any blockages from our minds, hearts and bodies in order to promote healing. This activates the healing processes of the body and restores well-being.
